Kissimmee Woman Killed In Pedestrian Accident

Sadly, this was recently the case for a Kissimmee woman. The 22-year-old woman was hit and killed by a pickup truck. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of March 10 in Kissimmee.

A Ford F-150 driven by a 28-year-old Kissimmee man was heading south on Poinciana Boulevard. At the same time, the woman, who was in a crosswalk, walked in front of the pickup truck while attempting to cross the intersection of Poinciana Boulevard and Waterview Estates Boulevard.

A witness said the pickup had a green light and therefore the right of way. After hitting the woman, the driver kept driving. He later returned to the accident scene, saying that he did not know what he hit. It is unknown how long it took for the driver to return.

The woman died at the accident scene. The crash is still under investigation.
