Man Killed In Kissimmee Accident

This is when a Hyundai Veloster traveling behind the Mazda failed to slow down and rear-ended it. The impact caused the Hyundai to swerve into the southbound lanes. The Hyundai went into the path of a Ford F-250, which caused the truck to collide with the right side of the Hyundai.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 25-year-old Kissimmee man, was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Mazda, a 17-year-old Kissimmee girl, was not injured. The driver of the Ford F-250, a 62-year-old Orlando man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Multiple northbound and southbound lanes of John Young Parkway were blocked for several hours after the crash. The accident is under investigation.
